Punctuation is used in writing to explain that when a sentence will be finished, when the writer asks a question and he shared any surprising  things with readers, punctuation will give writers a lot  to explain. 

As writers you always have good control of punctuation in your writing so always use very carefully your punctuation sign in your content.

1.       Period And Full Stop (  .  ) 

 These signs are used for the end of the long sentence.

Example – Ram goes to play football.

 

2.      Short Form (  .  )

These use for explain short form of any words

Example – Jan. [ January ] Mr. [ Mister ]

 

3.      Comma ( ,  ) 

These sign use for short term pause in sentence

Example -  List of 10 items

Shop, detergent, shampoo, dish wash, towel, hand wash and all that

 

4.      Semicolon (  ;  )

 These sign use to place where long pause in sentence greater than comma, and use in conjunction sentence

Example – I have no money ; therefore I can not study my further studies.

 

5.      Interrogative Marks (  ?  ) 

 These sign use to represent interrogative sentence and ask question to reader

Example – Did Ram go to Delhi for her exam?

 

6.      Exclamation Marks – (  !  )  

These sign use to explain surprising thing with reader and use to share her emotion with this sign in any sentence

Example – Oh ! Ram passed her 12 th board with good marks.

 

7.      Inverted Commas – ( ‘’  ‘’  )

 These sign use to explain some special conversion in this inverted commas

Example – he said, ‘’ I want to help you in your work "

8.      Apostrophe ( ‘s  )

 These sign use to explain to relationship with subject in sentence that is called apostrophe

Example -Ram’s brother go to Delhi for her National Trip

 Rohan’s father is doctor in city hospital

 

9.      Hyphen [ - ] 

These sign use to connect two sentence in pair role that is called hyphen

Example – drawing-room , class-room, dining- table, news-paper

 

10.   Dash ( –) 

Whenever we try to explain her emotion and want to stop herself than we are using this sign to explain it that is called Dash sign

Example – if my brother alive – why I think about past
